About Us

Our History

Forrest Hill Home & Hospital was purchased in March 2011 by two families who support a family-centred approach to care delivery. They genuinely care for the health and welfare of their staff and residents.

Staff stay at Forrest Hill because they like it here. Happy staff ensures the kindest and most highly-skilled care is delivered 24/7 to our residents.

Our Staff

Shona Munro

Shona Munro - General Manager

"Our residents come with a history, a life, a family, a job, careers, and many experiences. Their unique journeys include the good, the bad and the ugly. Because of this reality we see our residents as complete contributing humans. This older phase of their life is just another journey, where they need our support, care and understanding to keep them safe comfortable and heard.  We listen to them and their families, together planning this next phase as comfortable as we can. This is what sets Forrest Hill apart... We don't see just a resident , to us they are humans, people with personalities, colourful pasts and stories."

Mehanaz Khan - Clinical Manager

Mehanaz joined our team in February 2025 becoming our new Clinical Manager. She is totally dedicated to ensuring a high clinical standard of care.

Mehanaz wants residents to be more involved on the decision making of their own lives, and for care to be more about preventative nursing.
